I am licensed as a mental health counselor, and for the past 11 years I have specialized in therapy with children, adolescents, families, and couples, in addition to providing qualified supervision of registered mental health counseling interns. More recently, I served as the clinical director of an infant mental health program in Sarasota, Florida. I received my Master's of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Columbia International University, and have provided therapy for families and couples in their homes, outpatient office settings, and in my private practice.
My approach to therapy for children and parents, and couples is attachment focused. My practice is based on the belief that we all need healthy attachments to significant people in our lives, and when we are hurting, it is then that we need others most. This is why I have found this therapeutic approach to be so effective. Relationships are at the core of our humanity.
I provide a nonjudgmental, compassionate, and confidential space where you can express yourself freely. My priority is to create an environment where you feel heard, valued, and respected. I believe therapy is not “one-size-fits-all.” I tailor my approach based on your unique needs, experiences, and goals, using evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Strategies.
Therapy is a collaborative process, and I will walk alongside you. I empower you to set the pace, make decisions, and discover solutions that work best for you. While we address challenges, I also highlight your resilience, strengths, and personal growth, helping you recognize the progress you are making along the way.
I understand that life can be overwhelming, and I will never expect perfection from you. I approach my work with authenticity, empathy, and a sense of humor when appropriate because I believe healing happens best when we can be real.
There is no "right way" to heal, and setbacks are part of growth. I am here to support you in moments of triumph as well as struggle, without pressure or unrealistic expectations. If something isn't working for you, we can adjust. Your comfort and trust in this process matter, and I encourage open communication to ensure therapy is effective and meaningful for you.
Ultimately, my goal is to help you gain clarity, build coping skills, and create a life that aligns with your values and well-being. You are not alone, and I am honored to be part of your journey.

My passion and specialization is in working with women in every season of life, with a particular heart for perinatal depression and anxiety, the emotional weight of new motherhood, and the unique pressures women face as they grow in their careers. Finding a therapist who truly gets you, your background, your relationships, and the pressures you carry can be the difference between therapy that feels like homework and therapy that actually changes things. I bring both clinical expertise and a deeply personal understanding of what it means to navigate identity, belonging, and relationships in a complex world. I work with adults across the full range of human experience: women sorting through life transitions, men learning to open up in ways they never felt safe to before, and anyone wrestling with questions of who they are and where they belong. I specialize in anxiety, depression, adjustment to life changes, and the messy, beautiful work of building healthier relationships with others and with yourself.
