I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. I work with adults and older adults experiencing Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Bipolar Spectrum Disorders, Panic Disorders, Adjustment Disorders, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.

My clinical background also includes complex medical care, including Solid Organ Transplant Infectious Diseases and Cardiology, which has shaped the way I understand the connection between physical health and mental health. A Florida and Polk County native, Mirtha is a graduate of Frostproof High School. She is board certified as both a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and an Autonomous Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She earned a Bachelor's of Nursing from Polk State and a Master's of Nursing from USF. In 2023 Mirtha earned a Post Master's Certification in Psychiatry from Florida Atlantic University. However, her journey as a mental health provider began in 2020 when she became certified through the Academy of Christian Counseling, as a mental health coach. Then in January of 2025 she became an active member of the Order of Saint Luke (OSL) a healing ministry.

Mirtha has nearly 20 years of experience in healthcare. Her passion is caring for individuals struggling with mental health issues. She has been volunteering with the youth in her community for over 7 years and also has experience working in a domestic violence shelter with victims of trauma.

Hi, I’m Dr. Deneice, DNP, MBA, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC. I am a doctoral-prepared, board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and owner of Eden Total Care.

I provide concierge-style virtual psychiatric care for young-feeling adults at any age who are navigating anxiety, depression, insomnia, PTSD, PMDD, ADHD, autism-related concerns, mood symptoms, emotional overwhelm, burnout, and diagnostic uncertainty.

My primary role is psychiatric evaluation and medication management. I also incorporate supportive therapy, life coaching, and holistic guidance when appropriate. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and properly treated — not rushed, dismissed, or reduced to a diagnosis.

She offers holistic, evidence-based Telehealth services and is committed to a nonjudgmental, client-centered focus. Her practice helps individuals enhance physical and emotional well-being through individualized care.

Makenson is board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC), with a Master degree in nursing Practice (MSN). He is very passionate about providing high quality of comprehensive mental health services to adolescents and adults. Makenson possesses strong clinical skills which enables him to build rapport with patients and families. He follows evidence-based practices, combined with clinical experience, good intuition and observation. As a PHMNP, Makenson's role is versatile, including patient's advocate, psychotherapy and ,therapist.
